Wardrobe Wednesday- Vintage Inauguration Edition

I haven’t done a Wardrobe Wednesday post since October of 2018.....yeesh!  Do you remember when that used to be a regular thing?  Probably not....because that was waaaay  back in the 2013/2014 days.  That was like.....30 pounds ago.  Two houses ago.  Heck, a president and a half ago!

Speaking of presidents (smooth transition, eh?)  If you follow me on Instagram you’ll see that I have been doing Inauguration Fest 2021.  Basically, I love festivities and I will look for absolutely ANY excuse to theme it up.  Themes bring me joy.  I could use some joy.  So, I have been doing meals, workouts, and cocktails for the last 5 days  Why not add a festive outfit to the mix?  I mean.....why wouldn’t you?

For my inauguration LEEWWWK I decided to pair patriotic colors with the vintage style I adore so much.  You know, back when ladies donned sophisticated dresses, hats, and gloves and carried adorable structured purses (swoons)   It was a fun change of pace from my leggings with the phone pocket and a Walmart tank (Although I did skip the hat. Catch ya next time) I imagined that this is what a 1960s Whitney would wear to an inauguration ceremony, because 1960s Whitney is a classy ass broad (that probably wouldn't say ass...but I am modern Whitney so it’ cool)

I love the classic neckline

Am I doing this right?
